We are a USA-based manufacturer of high voltage power apparatus. We were established as a subsidiary and with the financial backing of Pennsylvania Transformer Technology Inc. to complement our well established power transformer products. We take great pride in designing and manufacturing our products to the highest standards. ENGINEERING EXPERTISE—Our senior engineers offer many years of experience in the power transmission and distribution industry. Additionally, we are developing some of the best young engineers to guarantee that Pennsylvania Breaker will remain at the forefront of circuit breaker development for years to come. RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT is a cornerstone of our business. We use state-of-the-art computer analysis for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) calculations, finite element analysis (FEA), and kinematics to optimize our designs. Our 3-D CAD system ensures that each part fits the first time, every time. Development testing takes place at our W. E. Kerr High Voltage Test Center in Canonsburg as well as at KEMA Power Test in Chalfont, PA. Recent expansions increased synthetic testing capabilities to 245kV, 63kA , making KEMA the largest facility of it’s type in the United States. Renovations to the W. E. Kerr High Voltage Test Center improved our in-house testing capabilities. CUSTOMER FOCUS is our guiding principal. As the only US-owned manufacturer of high voltage circuit breakers, we are able to focus on development of products specifically for our home market. All designs are based on ANSI/IEEE standards for application on 60Hz systems. We are aware of evolving IEEE standards and take every consideration in applying the latest and most stringent standards in our development process. We are highly conscious of the in-service demands placed on circuit breakers in today's power system.
